Queen of Heaven Pro-Life Ministry
Our ministry comprises of a passionate group of men and women who promote the defense and understanding of the sanctity of every human life from conception to natural death, according to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. We participate in 40 Days for Life, March for Life in Washington DC, Baby Bottle Campaign, Pro-Life Bake Sale Fundraisers, Flowers for Life, Death Penalty Awareness, Spiritual Adoption and more. We always gladly welcome new members.

QUEEN OF HEAVEN PRO-LIFE MINISTRY BUS TRIP TO THE OHIO MARCH FOR LIFEQueen of Heaven Parish is taking a bus trip to the Ohio March for Life in Columbus on Friday, October 4. The bus will depart from Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (1800 Steese Rd., Uniontown, OH) at 7:30 a.m. and will return at 5:00 p.m. The cost is $30.00 per person. NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE OF ABORTED CHILDREN
The 10th National Day of Remembrance of Aborted Children will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Thomas Cebula will lead the Pro-Life Stations of the Cross at the grotto at Little Flower Parish in Canton, Ohio. This memorial service is made possible by Little Flower Parish Respect Life Ministry, 40 Days for Life/Canton and Right to Life of Stark County.

You are invited to the Celebrate Life Dinner on Saturday, September 21 at St. Barbara Parish Life Center with guest speaker Monica Kelsey, the founder of Safe Haven Baby Boxes. PRO-LIFE MINISTRY - HELP NEEDED!
Akron Pregnancy Services is also in need of meals from March 28 through November 15, 2024, for moms and dads that come to their classes to learn about how to be the best parents to their children from area professionals and volunteer mentors. Classes include topics like childcare, budgeting, nutrition and meal planning, positive discipline, bible studies and healthy relationships. They also provide childcare during the classes so that the parents can give the programs their undivided attention. Two classes are held every week and have about 25 adult participants and up to 15 children at any given time. Election Prayer For Life
O God, we acknowledge you today as Lord,
Not only of individuals, but of nations and governments.
We thank you for the privilege
Of being able to organize ourselves politically
And of knowing that political loyalty
Does not have to mean disloyalty to you.
We thank you for your law,
Which our Founding Fathers acknowledged
And recognized as higher than any human law.
We thank you for the opportunity that this election year puts before us,
To exercise our solemn duty not only to vote,
But to influence countless others to vote,
And to vote correctly.
Lord, we pray that your people may be awakened.
Let them realize that while politics is not their salvation,
Their response to you requires that they be politically active.
Awaken your people to know that they are not called to be a sect fleeing the world
But rather a community of faith renewing the world.
Awaken them that the same hands lifted up to you in prayer
Are the hands that pull the lever in the voting booth;
That the same eyes that read your Word
Are the eyes that read the names on the ballot,
And that they do not cease to be Christians
When they enter the voting booth.
Awaken your people to a commitment to justice
To the sanctity of marriage and the family,
To the dignity of each individual human life,
And to the truth that human rights begin when human lives begin,
And not one moment later.
Lord, we rejoice today
That we are citizens of your kingdom.
May that make us all the more committed
To being faithful citizens on earth.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer To End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!
