As a vote on an abortion amendment that would expand and enshrine abortion rights into the Ohio Constitution approaches, the videos in this series illustrate how the Catholic Church embraces women and families facing unexpected or challenging pregnancies and offers them the support and services they need to choose life. In addition, the church offers a number of programs of healing and hope to support anyone who has been involved in a past abortion. Queen Of Heaven Parish will be praying outside of Planned Parenthood on Cleveland Avenue in Canton Ohio every Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. To sign up or for more information, please contact Pam at [email protected]. By signing this pledge it protects each person legally in the event of any problems.

Blessings in a Backpack continues to provide the children in Green Local Schools with meals every weekend. Donations are always appreciated and useful. We can always use hearty soups, canned pasta‘s like SpaghettiOs with meatballs, macaroni and cheese, and canned vegetables. Please bring the donated items to the Gathering Space in the back of the church. It’s something new for Grandparents! If you are a grandmother or grandfather and would like to learn some practical tips and resources for connecting with your grandkids to help them carry on the Catholic Faith, join us on Friday, September 29, at St. Paul Parish, 1580 Brown Street, Akron, 44301 in the PAC (Parish Activity Center) at 6:30 p.m. for the first meeting of the SS. The Queen of Heaven Music Ministry is open to all parishioners who have the desire to sing and worship the Lord. If you play a musical instrument or love to sing, and would like to use your talent for the Lord, Queen of Heaven Church has a place for you. The Music Ministry provides an avenue for you to share your gifts and be an integral part of the worship. Our choir practices are on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the church. The Challenge Girls’ Club, for grades K-12, gathers weekly to strengthen their Catholic faith through virtue lessons, scripture study, examples of saints, service projects and creative activities all while fostering faith-based friendships. We meet on Tuesdays, September - March; 6:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Hall, beginning on Tuesday, September 12. Conquest Boys is a Catholic youth ministry that helps boys to know and love their faith, live Christian virtue and make a postive difference in the world around them through service. We meet weekly on Tuesdays from September 12, 2023, through March 19, 2023, from 6:30—8:30 p.m. in the Parish Life Center.
