RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS - The process by which adults become Catholic
RCIA Begins on September 30th

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which people become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person into believing with the Church community (doctrinal formation), living with the Church community (practical formation), praying with the Church community (liturgical formation), and serving with the Church community (apostolic formation). This gradual development culminates in the celebration of the initiation sacraments of baptism, confirmation, and the Eucharist at Easter time. RCIA is intended for those who have never been baptized and for those who are already baptized but have not made their First Communion or been confirmed.

If you or anyone you know is interested in the Catholic Faith, please have them contact the parish office (330 896-2345). Someone from the RCIA team will be in touch with you. Additionally, an “Inquiry” session will be held on Wednesday evening, September 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Life Center if you would like to learn more about the RCIA before it starts to help you decide if you might like to try it.
